Korean superstar Lee Min-ho thrilled thousands of Filipino fans during his Minhoverse fan meeting in Manila held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on April 26, marking his much-anticipated return to the Philippines after nearly two years.
"It's been a while, almost two years since nakabalik ako dito," he remarked as per interpreter during the show.
Min-ho also expressed his desire to explore more of the country saying: "Philippines di ba it's known for having beautiful islands. I really want to visit one of the islands, well of course Boracay, Cebu but I really want to go somewhere that's very unknown and it's not popular yet and to discover the beauty of it."
During the fan Q&A segment, Min-ho responded to playful and heartfelt questions from his supporters.
When asked when he feels the cutest, he humbly responded, "I've never really thought I was cute. It's just really the fans, the Minoz, that tell me that I'm cute so siguro cute ako but personally I never really call myself na cute ako."
On the topic of which character he played in his past projects resembles him most in real life, the Korean actor replied that he sees bits of himself in every character he plays.
"I think all the characters that I portrayed because siyempre each character I portrayed there is a little bit of myself in it. Every time I do this emotional [scene] I really have to show off the emotional [aspect] of it so I guess all of it has a little bit of myself in it," he highlighted.
Adding to the excitement during the fan meeting, Min-ho performed several fan-favorite songs including "I Love You," "Good Night, Good Dream," and "Always."
Another highlight of the evening was the games segment, where lucky fans were invited on stage to interact with the actor. Among the games played was the Filipino classic tumbang preso.
