Darren Espanto had a whirlwind, once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Wicked: For Good premiere held at Universal Studios Singapore last November 13.
The It’s Showtime host eagerly shared with fans a series of Instagram photos that captured his excitement.
The singer attended the premiere alongside actress Andrea Brillantes. Together, the two turned heads on the yellow carpet with outfits that paid homage to the beloved Wicked characters. Darren wore a green patterned suit inspired by Elphaba, while Andrea glowed in a pink, elegant dress capturing Glinda’s signature charm. The two walked the yellow carpet along with the cast of the film,and other celebrities who also attended.

One of the highlights of the night came when Darren and Andrea posed for a photo with Wicked lead stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, marking a full-circle fan moment that sent their followers into a frenzy. Darren also enjoyed an up-close interaction with the cast, snapping casual selfies that further captured the surreal experience.

“We got to meet Glinda and Elphaba & watched a special advanced screening of ‘Wicked: For Good’! Catch it in cinemas this November!” Darren wrote in his post, adding the official event hashtag #WickedForGood.

Fans and fellow celebrities quickly posted in the comments section, expressing how lucky Darren was to live out a dream many Wicked fans share.

Before the premiere, Darren enjoyed a welcome dinner in Sentosa. In an earlier post, he shared photos from the intimate gathering he attended with Andrea, along with Filipino hosts Ai Dela Cruz and Markki Stroem, both serving as the hosts to the international premiere.

Wicked: For Good is set to premiere in Philippine theaters on November 19, 2025.
