Content creator and entrepreneur Rosmar Tan has opened up about experiencing the loss of her fourth pregnancy, sharing the heartbreaking news with her followers through emotional social media posts.
On August 1, Rosmar revealed that she and her husband, Jerome Pamulaklakin, had gone to their doctor for an ultrasound appointment. Instead of hearing their baby's heartbeat and learning the gender, the couple was informed that the fetus had stopped developing at six weeks and no heartbeat could be detected.
Alongside a carousel of photos on TikTok documenting the emotional day, Rosmar poured out her grief.
"Today was supposed to be the day of my ultrasound to hear your heartbeat, but instead, I found out you were gone. You stopped growing at six weeks. Today was also supposed to be when they drew my blood to find out your gender so we'd know in three weeks. I guess it’s just not the right time for me to be a mom of four.🕊️,” she wrote.
The photos included a photo of Rosmar in tears inside a bathroom. Another showed how Jerome stayed by her side to comfort her during the difficult moment.
Sharing the ultrasound image, Rosmar wrote a message for the baby she had been eagerly waiting to meet.
"You were only here for a moment, but you will stay in my heart forever.🕊️”
In another photo featuring their family, Rosmar reflected on how they would remain a family of five with their three children after the unexpected loss.
She also shared on Facebook that she and Jerome had already begun preparing for their baby's arrival and had even started planning a gender reveal celebration. However, those plans had to be canceled after learning of the miscarriage.
"Di nyo alam kung gaano ako ka excited sa gender reveal. Mag pa NIPT (non-invasive prenatal testing) sana ako today... Pero nonsense na kasi pag transv (transvaginal ultrasound) wala na. Wala nang sense na makita gender ni baby. Wala na."
Following her posts, many of Rosmar's supporters flooded the comments section with messages of comfort, prayers, and encouragement, offering their condolences to her and her family as they grieve the loss of their unborn child.
