MANILA — Actress Arci Muñoz said she is considering freezing her eggs as she expressed her desire to have children in the future, even without a partner.
Appearing in the vlog of broadcast journalist Karen Davila, Muñoz, who is still single at 37 years old, admitted that she is not praying for a partner anymore.
"I don't actually pray for that anymore. Parang pinagdarasal ko na lang 'Lord, kung 'di ako meant to have someone like a partner in my life, that's fine.' I kinda like accepted it with my age right now, I'm 37. Hindi ko naman kino-close ang doors ko -- of course it's really nice to have someone by your side as you grow old," she said.
"Pero kung wala talaga ayaw kong i-force. I don't really chase, I attract. Right now hindi 'yan ang priority ko," the actress added.

Asked if she's willing to be a mother even without partner, Muñoz replied: "Yeah. I do. I always think na magpaanak na lang kaya ako. My mom said, 'Hindi kita ganyan pinalaki.' Kasi my mom is always righteous and religious. So sabi ko 'paano yan Ma?' I don't want to die alone. I want to see like how my kids are going to look like if ever."
She continued: "Parang mag-anak na lang kaya ako. So I'm thinking of getting my eggs freeze na."
"I want to have kids. Kasi seeing my niece and my nephews at home they are my happiness. That's why right now I spend more time at home because they're there especially during weekends. Kasi all my siblings we always spend time tuwing weekend," she added.
In the interview, Muñoz also recalled her biggest heartbreak, when she chose career over love.

In the vlog, Muñoz turned emotional when she talked about her father, whom she described as her personal hero.
Her father, Manuel Ramon Muñoz, passed away in 2016.

"When I lost him I kinda like I told myself na parang I want to enjoy life, I realized life is really, really short. Kasi when he was present, parang he was invincible parang I will never lose such a man who's really strong, who has so many wisdom parang impossible naman mawala, kunin ni Lord. Pero in a snap nawala. So doon ko na appreciate more na instead of focusing like more on career, sabi ko why try not to enjoy life more. That's why I travel," she said.
The actress said her standards when it comes to partner is high because of her father.
"My dad he taught me everything I know, everything that I am right now," she said. "He is the love of my life, my father. Our bond is so tight it's because of them, parang my parents made that happen."
In the vlog, the actress also talked about enhancement, her love for cooking, and her love for South Korean group BTS, whom she hopes to meet in person.
In a previous interview, the actress revealed how BTS helped her moved on from a breakup.
