Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin are expecting their first child.
The couple revealed they are going to be parents during their appearance at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, when they walked the red carpet for the premiere of acclaimed filmmaker Asghar Farhadi’s Parallel Tales, instantly becoming one of the most talked-about celebrity moments from the prestigious event.
The actor and the Victoria’s Secret Angel proudly showed her growing baby bump as they posed for photos together, sweetly framing and caressing her belly in front of cameras.
The pair later made the announcement official through a joint Instagram post uploaded on May 15. Sharing photos from their Cannes appearance, the Dylan lovingly rested his hands on Barbara’s baby bump while smiling to her.
They also included a playful sonogram image of their child seemingly holding up a rock-and-roll hand sign, a gesture both Dylan and Barbara recreated in the photos.
“π€πΌπ€πΌπ€πΌ,” the couple wrote in the caption.
The announcement quickly exploded online, earning over 3.6 million reactions from fans and followers who filled the comments section with love and excitement.
Among those who celebrated the news was Ari Lou Fournier, the girlfriend of Dylan’s twin brother, Cole Sprouse.
“Most beautiful ever π₯Ήβ€οΈβΎοΈ,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Dylan and Cole’s former The Suite Life of Zack and Cody co-star Brenda Song also shared her excitement for the growing family.
“Oh my god!! I’m so happy for you guys! Congrats!” she commented.
The news marks another milestone in the couple’s nearly decade-long romance.
Dylan and Barbara first met at a party in 2017 before officially beginning their relationship in June 2018. Months later, Barbara openly shared about her relationship with the actor during an interview with Vogue Australia.
“I feel like I found the perfect guy,” she said of Dylan. “He's very kind and gentle.”
Their relationship continued to flourish over the years, culminating in their engagement in September 2022. The two tied the knot in a romantic ceremony held in Barbara’s home country, Hungary, in July 2023.
