MANILA — Gerald Anderson said he is choosing to stay single for now as he focuses on becoming a “better” version of himself while preparing for the future he wants.
Anderson made the statement on "Stars on Stars," which featured him and "Blood vs Duty" co-actor Baron Geisler.

"That's the reason I'm single now because I want to become a better partner, a better person, a better son, a better brother, a better provider. Magagawa ko 'yan If I focus on myself muna," Anderson said.
Anderson said he is busy doing a lot of things right now because he's preparing for his future.
"Like, sabi mo kanina 'ang dami mong ginagawa' kasi I'm building the life I want in five years. I want to be that kind of person. I want to be the best version, so I have to start now. So focus muna ako sa sarili ko," Anderson added.
Anderson was last publicly linked to actress Julia Barretto. The two confirmed their relationship in 2021 after romance rumors first surfaced in 2019. In September last year, Star Magic announced that the pair had mutually decided to part ways.
