Global girl group KATSEYE expressed the importance of staying strong as a group. In their interview with lifestyle magazine, NYLON, members of the girl group got candid about their emotions following the success that they’ve been enjoying.
This interview was done before the announcement of Manon’s hiatus from the group.

“We’re only as strong as our weakest member. We need to make sure that we’re all showing up for each other. We cannot leave anybody behind,” leader Sophia Laforteza shared with NYLON.
As they dominate music charts and gain more fans, member Manon shared how important it is to pay no mind to the rude comments.
“What we’ve learned about what it takes to be an artist is not paying too much attention to what is happening online,” Manon said.
“I think once you get famous, there’s so many opinions all of a sudden about you. Everyone’s judging and having something to say. Just keep building a wall between all of that,” she continued.
NYLON revealed that the members declined to answer questions about Manon’s hiatus, which fans have been dying to know the answers to. Despite this, the magazine shared a glimpse of some of the answers Manon shared with them in the past.

“Being in a group, it’s just about good communication and setting good boundaries and building a friendship, but also [a] work relationship, and always remembering that it’s a shared goal that we have,” Manon previously shared.
Meanwhile, Manon assured her fans that she has been in "positive conversations” with both HYBE and Geffen Records following her hiatus. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that she removed the group name from her Instagram bio.
KATSEYE is set to perform at Coachella and will release their upcoming single, "PINKY UP," prior to the music festival. The teasers showed the members of the girl group without Manon.
