Britain’s Got Talent series 19 finalist Matty Juniosa warned his fans on social media about a fake Facebook page impersonating him. On his personal Facebook account, the Filipino singer asked the public to report the fake account to prevent future misinformation.
The fake Facebook account named Matty J., has over 26 thousand followers and is using the photos of the Filipino singer taken from Britain’s Got Talent.

“Just letting you all know that there’s page pretending to be me and signing off on posts as if it’s me,” he wrote.
Matty maintained that he only has a personal account and an official page which is connected to his Instagram account.
“So if you could all help me get the word out in case the admin of that page does anything dodgy!! I appreciate the help in getting my name out there through that page but it’s just kinda weird that whoever’s on that account is signing off and posting announcements as if they were me,” he maintained.
While the situation is serious, the Filipino singer took a moment to lighten the mood as he recalled wishing for “poser accounts” when he was younger.
“I know I was wishing for poser accounts when I was in high school coz that meant I was famous but didn't realize it felt quite awkward seeing it happen irl,” he quipped.
Friends and fans quickly expressed their support and shared in the comment section that they had already reported the fake Facebook account.
Meanwhile, Matty has been having a great run in the current season of Britain’s Got Talent where he got his second golden buzzer from judge Amanda Holden earlier this month following his impressive rendition of "Dream On" by Aerosmith.
“Amanda, thank you so much for giving me my second Golden Buzzer. Simon’s first one, I’m so grateful enough for that. But a second one? I just got a Golden Buzzer!” Matty expressed.
