Kapuso actors Mika Salamanca and Will Ashley denied that their recent Bangkok trip was a hard launch of their rumored romantic relationship. The former Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition housemates expressed how surprised they were to witness the reactions of some netizens as they were simply doing a trend on social media.
Mika and Will were recently spotted in Bangkok, Thailand, where they were both wearing the country's school uniforms while taking photos of one another.

In an interview with 24 Oras, Will shared that it wasn’t just the two of them on their quick trip to Bangkok, as their friends were with them.
“Masaya kasi kasama din namin yung ibang friends namin, so talagang naikot namin yung Bangkok tapos nakakain din kami ng masasarap na food. Kumbaga, na-enjoy din namin yung day off namin after ng napakabusy na schedule,” Will expressed.
“Nagpahinga po talaga,” Mika added.
When asked to give a reaction about their so-called “hard launch” by the netizens, the two brushed it off and maintained that they were just following a trend.
“Ha? Hard launch? Di nga namin ini-expect na ganun yung magiging [reaction] ng mga tao talaga eh kasi parang nakita lang namin talaga ni Mika as a trend, sobrang cute din nung trend, so ayun, sakto, may malapit sa amin na uniform na nagre-rent, so trinay lang namin,” Will maintained.
“Di naman,” Mika agreed.

Their trip to Thailand was one of the two trips where netizens spotted them together. Previously, Mika and Will were seen in Hong Kong as their photos were leaked on social media.
Similar to their trip to Thailand, the Kapuso actress’s manager maintained that they were with their friends as well.
Meanwhile, Mika and Will are starring in the collaboration series of iWant and GMA, The Secrets of Hotel 88, alongside their fellow PBB housemates.
