BINI leader Jhoanna Robles fulfilled a personal dream as she delivered the weather forecast during the group’s guesting on Good Day LA.
The unexpected moment happened on April 25 (PH Time) when BINI appeared on the morning news show to talk about their Coachella debut, their experiences in Southern California, their EP Signals, and their upcoming world tour. Shortly after the interview, the segment took a surprising turn.

Good Day LA’s Filipino-American resident meteorologist Maria Quiban invited Jhoanna to try weather forecasting live on air.
“I like to fulfill people’s bucket lists. I think one of them wants to do a little bit of weather [forecasting],” Maria said as she called Jhoanna.
Visibly nervous, Jhoanna stepped in front of the green screen for the first time. Her outfit that had a shade of green humorously blended into the background, causing parts of her clothing to become see through.
Maria guided her through the basics, explaining how the maps and graphics work before asking her to try it herself.
“How do I start it?” Jhoanna innocently asked, drawing laughter from the studio.
She then proceeded to read the forecast impromptu, impressing Maria.
“She’s a natural talaga!” Maria expressed.
As the segment continued, Maria showed rainfall, wind, and high temperature advisories across Los Angeles. She also asked Jhoanna about their experience performing in Indio, California.
“It was hot but it was also very windy so we didn’t really feel the hotness...But we [brought] hotness to the stage,” Jhoanna joked, making the hosts and her fellow BINI members laugh.

Following the segment, Jhoanna shared her reaction online.
“HAHAHAHAHA NAKAKAHIYA,” she wrote on X.
The moment quickly gained attention, including from Forbes senior contributor Jeff Benjamin, who reposted her clip and reacted to the green screen effect on her outfit.
“The green screen making parts of her jacket see through... 💀 ghost Jhoanna,” Jeff wrote, in which Jhonna replied, “rightttt HAHAHA 👻”
“Hahahaha but you did great!! Miss you! Enjoy LA and send my love to the girls. See you soon! 🫶,” he then replied.
Fans also expressed their pride, noting how the moment reflected Jhoanna’s long-time passion for broadcasting.
“I know those folks from the TV Patrol newsroom are proud of you, Master Jho... And we're proud too, from ABS-CBN newsroom to @FOXLA,” one wrote.
“So proud of you master jho... Such a great opportunity showcasing your talent in broadcasting 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️,” another added.

Jhoanna’s interest in broadcasting dates back to her school days, when she actively joined journalism competitions such as the Division Schools Press Conference and Regional Schools Press Conference. In 2023, she first experienced working in a newsroom through TeleRadyo’s Sakto, followed by appearances on TV Patrol Express alongside Jeff Canoy and Denice Dinsay in 2024. She later became a Star Patroller on TV Patrol, where she wrote, voiced, and edited her own report.
BINI’s guesting on Good Day LA comes after their successful Coachella debut and their recent appearance on GRAMMY Museum Global Spin Live. They are set to accept their Global Force Award at the Billboard Women in Music scheduled on April 29 (Pacific Time) at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California.
