RM is set to showcase artwork from his personal collection at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) from October 3 to February 7, 2027.

Titled "RM x SFMOMA," the upcoming exhibition will feature around 200 works from both RM’s collection and the museum’s holdings.

According to SFMOMA's website, the exhibition will offer "a rare chance to see modern and contemporary Korean artworks in conversation with artworks from around the world."

In a statement, RM remarked, "We live in an age defined by boundaries. This exhibition at SFMOMA reflects those boundaries: between East and West, Korea and America, the modern and the contemporary, the personal and the universal. I don’t want to prescribe how these works should be seen; whether out of curiosity or study, all perspectives are welcome. My only hope is that this exhibition can be a small but sturdy bridge for many."

The exhibition is curated by RM, with co-curators América Castillo, Curatorial Project Manager at SFMOMA, and Hyoeun Kim, Assistant Curator at the museum.

RM, alongside the rest of the BTS members, are currently headlining their Arirang world tour.

The tour kicked off with a three-night run in Goyang on April 9, 11, and 12. It is set to span 85 shows across 34 cities worldwide, including a stop in the Philippines scheduled for March 2027.

The global tour follows the release of the group’s latest album, Arirang, which dropped on March 20. The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 on April 4, earning 641,000 equivalent album units.

Arirang also broke two records on Spotify upon its release on March 20.
