MANILA — Actress Elisse Joson said she is choosing to stay single for now, saying she is focused on her daughter Felize and would only enter a new relationship when the timing and partner feel right.
"It takes the right person and the right timing to get into another relationship," Joson told ABS-CBN News and other members of media at the sidelines of the new family reality series “Lactum Bibo-lilits Galing Challenges 2.0.”
"Siyempre mas wiser ka na ngayon, and for me, I have a kid to consider. 'Yun ang pinaka importante, 'yun ang priority," added Joson, referring to her daughter with former long-time partner, actor McCoy de Leon.
Joson confirmed her breakup with de Leon in Jully 2025.
The former love team partners dubbed Mclisse first sparked a romantic connection in 2016 when they became housemates in "Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7. "
After breaking up in 2018, they reconciled in 2021. They introduced their baby girl Felize in October 2021.
