Former actress Ingrid dela Paz transformed into a fairy to celebrate her daughter Kirsten’s first birthday.
On social media, Ingrid shared snaps from their whimsical fairy-themed party.
“Kirsten’s Fairy First Birthday 🧚🏻✨ One year already, and our love for you only grows more and more each day,” she wrote.
Ingrid also revealed that her partner prefers to keep their daughter’s privacy, which is why Kirsten’s face was covered in the photos.
“I really wanted to post her photos without the sticker, but Daddy is too protective of his little princess,” she added.
In a message she wrote for her daughter, Ingrid expressed gratitude to her daughter for helping her embrace motherhood.
“Thank you for this new life, a life full of joy and love. The memory of you coming into our lives is still so vivid. I was honestly clueless. I felt happy and at the same time nervous, but you helped me transition into motherhood slowly but surely,” she said.
She went on: “A year with you has been a roller coaster ride. It was hard having no one, while learning your emotions, your coos, and your cries. But despite all that, you introduced me to a new version of myself and taught me a kind of love I never knew existed.”
Ingrid went on to share her wishes for her daughter, promising to always be by Kirsten’s side.
“Thank you for coming into our lives. I thank God that when He was choosing my baby’s soul, He chose you. You are my life, our life. I want you to always remember that I will love you forever. Mama will always be beside you to support and love you, from your first steps to the day you walk down the aisle, and until my very last breath. You will always be our baby girl,” she continued.
“Happy 1st birthday, anak, and happy one year to our new life as parents. We love you so much. ❤️”
Ingrid was officially launched in showbiz as part of Star Magic Circle 2013, alongside Julia Barretto, Khalil Ramos, Janella Salvador, Jane Oineza, Liza Soberano, Alex Diaz, Jerome Ponce, and Michelle Vito.
She appeared in several ABS-CBN programs, including Maalaala Mo Kaya, The Haunted, The Killer Bride, Wildflower, and Pasion de Amor, before stepping away from the limelight in 2023.
Ingrid now lives in Canada with her partner, Kevin Bayawa, and their daughter, Kirsten Isla.
Last year, she graduated with a degree in Culinary Management from Centennial College in Ontario, Canada.
