MANILA -- Actress Ria Atayde is excited to go back to acting, but shared that it's not happening anytime soon because she is enjoying her time as a mother and a wife to actor Zanjoe Marudo.
Speaking to ABS-CBN News on Tuesday at the sidelines of "The Silent Noise" media conference, Atayde talked about her life as a wife and mom to her 17-month old baby.
"Tingnan po natin. I mean you know if there's anything that comes along. I miss acting, like if there's anything, I do miss the art part of it, the craft, the emotional release, hindi ba? Acting can be very cathartic. I am actually excited to go back," Atayde said.
"Pero again I wouldn't replace the time I have now and the role that I'm playing now is I think the most important role I've ever been given in my life. So i-embrace ko lang muna. You know siguro when Bino is a bit bigger, pwede na po. Pero for now 'di naman wala pa," she added.
Atayde and Marudo got married at a civil wedding in Quezon City in March 2024. They welcomed their baby boy in September same year.
Atayde, who was with her sister Gela, attended the blue carpet premiere and media conference of the "The Silent Noise," starring her husband and actress Angelica Panganiban.
"The Silent Noise" will premiere on Prime Video beginning March 20.
