Actor-turned-politician Alex Castro shared the reason he didn’t respond to the comments made by Alvin Aragon back in February. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda on Fast Talk, the Bulacan Vice Governor recalled the time he was made aware of the viral statements made by the StarStruck alum.
Alvin, who’s the husband of former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona, called out Alex for allowing his wife Sunshine Garcia to perform and join the reunion concert.

“Sinasabi nila buti pa yung asawa ni Sunshine, Vice Governor, pinayagan sila mag concert. Dapat nga hindi eh. Dapat nga yung asawa mo, ingatan mo. Hindi mo hahayaan magsuot ng mga damit na para pagnasahan ng mga lalaki,” Alvin previously said in an interview.
When asked by Boy to give a comment about it, Alex started out by sharing that it was after Valentine’s Day when he found out about the comment.
“After kasi ng Valentine’s Day yun so galing kaming date ni Shine tapos pag ka gising namin, marami ng nag tag sa amin,” he recalled.
For the Vice Governor, he maintained that he has a different relationship with his wife compared to Alvin and Izzy's. He added that they shouldn’t be compared as to who’s right and who’s wrong.
“Siguro, yung naging assessment ko lang dun sa nangyari, may kanya-kanya tayong kung papaano yung paniniwala natin, papaano yung relasyon natin sa asawa natin, kung paano natin suportahan. Kapag kinompare mo na kasi sarili mo sa iba, at sasabihin mo na ikaw ang tama at mali yung isa, dun na nagkakaroon ng problema,” he added.
He asserted that he would rather put his focus oln his constituents in the province of Bulacan and just respect whatever Alvin said.

“Siguro, nirespeto ko nalang kung ano yung sinabi niya at tsaka ang dami kong dapat intindihin sa Bulacan para patulan yung ganun issue,” he maintained.
Alex also said that there is something wrong with anyone who watches the concert and has lewd desires over the performers for wearing something that’s meant to be part of the program.
“Ang may mali dun ay kung may pagnanasa yung nanunuod. Concert yun, ganun ang may costume. Pag dinala mo sa simbahan yung ganun klaseng costume, mali yun,” he clarified.
Alex then shared a glimpse of their dynamics as husband and wife–– both being proactive and leading by good example.
“Kailangan hindi lang mag lead kung hindi maging example–– maging good example. Kaming dalawang mag asawa, hindi naman pwede yung ako lang dapat ang lagi masunod. Dapat parehas–– kung ano yung napag usapan namin dalawa, yun yung gagawin namin,” he ended.
