Actress-comedienne Tuesday Vargas took to social media on February 7 to openly ask for work, reaching out to friends in the entertainment industry as she continues to support her family’s needs.

In a Facebook post, Tuesday directly appealed to writers, producers, and directors, sharing her willingness and readiness to take on new projects.

“Sa mga kaibigan kong writer, producer at director po, kung meron po kayong projects para sa akin ay available po ako. I am a diligent worker and I'd like to believe that I am a good and versatile artist,” she wrote.

“Please hire me po. Promise pag huhusayan ko po. Salamat po,” she assured.

She later used her Facebook Stories to further detail the types of work she can offer, highlighting her experience across different fields.

“Guys if you have work for me, I promise I will do my best to be of service. I am a host, actress and singer po. I also coordinate and style events. I am also a public speaker. And I can also do commissions for paintings,” she said.

“Please po if may trabaho na malinis at marangal para sa akin PM (personal message) niyo lang po ako. Thank you!”

Alongside her search for work, Tuesday has also been selling her paintings, which she said she created during a difficult period in her life during the pandemic. Her artworks depict the beauty of nature, the very space that makes her feel “most alive” and peaceful.

As someone who does not consider herself a professional painter, Tuesday shared that each piece holds personal meaning and emotion.

“Each time you buy a piece from me, you extract a part of my life that celebrates my healing. I want to share this with the rest of the world in the hopes that whenever someone is at their lowest, they will be assured that God is a merciful God that smiles upon even the most broken of us. Thank you Lord for breathing talent into me and using me as a tool of your love.”

She was also candid about why she chose to sell her paintings, saying the proceeds help fund her ongoing mental health medical needs and the healing of her son, Kaya, who is in a care facility.

“If you fancy any of these, you may bid here or send me a PM of what you wish to pay for them. As you know I am in treatment as well for my mental health issues and I also recently lost my job. My son is also in a care facility which I need funding for so I can also help him heal,” she wrote.

Addressing possible misunderstandings, Tuesday made it clear that her actions come from responsibility rather than seeking pity.

“No hindi po ako nagpapa-awa. It’s me, a mother and a woman coming to you and your good hearts. I am exchanging these artworks for a little sum of money so I can help my family and also myself so I can sustain my medications and continue my journey towards healing.”

Apart from offering her services and aartwork, Tuesday has also been selling her pre-loved clothes to help cover ththeiir expenses.

In late January, the actress asked for prayers after revealing that her son is currently “away seeking the help he needs to get better.” While she did not go into detail, she described the situation as the “hardest thing we’ve ever faced as a family.”

Tuesday has been open about her mental health journey in the past. In August 2025, she shared that she was diagnosed with high-functioning autism and ADHD at age 12, and later with generalized anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and panic attack disorder.

Following her recent posts, many netizens expressed support and encouragement for Tuesday, commending her courage in asking for help and her determination to continue working while prioritizing her healing and her son’s well-being.
