While Derek Ramsay opted not to comment on the  “noise online” surrounding his relationship with Ellen Adarna or the support he provides for their daughter, he said Adarna has been “generous” in letting him see Lili.

According to the actor, although their set-up is not ideal, he makes every effort to spend as much time as he can with his child.

“It's difficult, but we find ways. I asked permission from Ellen if I can see my daughter. She's very generous naman with the time she gives me or the opportunities she gives me to see my daughter. So, I was with her yesterday, I was with her this morning. She was with me all morning until. Even if it's just for a few hours, two, three hours. It's hard for me to not see my daughter,” he explained in an interview held during the MVP Olympics 2026 All-Star Basketball games where he led the white team.

Ramsay added that he is at “peace” despite the “noise online” about his relationship with Adarna.

“I don’t want to comment on any of that noise online. For me, my focus is really my daughter,” he said. “I'm at peace and I just. In time, everything will be okay."

Ramsay went in to describe his daughter as very athletic and believes she has the potential to pursue a career in sports.

“Her coordination is amazing. She's definitely gonna be an athlete. She runs around like... Oh my gosh,” he said.

Ramsay said he is already exposing her to golf, hoping she might take up the sport in the future.

“I can feel she can really excel in that sport. I bring her to the driving range. She's come around with me for nine holes already. She did not cry, so that's a good sign. We played at around 4.30 in the afternoon. It was a quick round of nine holes. She enjoyed it,” he recalled.

“But It all depends on if she wants to do it, right? If she wants to, she has my full 100%, 200% support. I'll do everything and anything if she loves what she's doing,” he added.

The actor also described Lili as “very Bisaya” and is proud she can converse in different languages.

“Bisaya na Bisaya. My favorite word that she says now is turtle, but she says it 'turtol.' It's just those little things. It's really amazing to see the progress. She's growing up so fast,” he teased.

"Her favorite is mole, mol. She keeps trying to pull it [my mole] off. Mol, mol, mol. Bisaya,” Ramsay said. “Lili will be speaking Bisaya, Tagalog, English, and hopefully, another language… She is the smartest kid.  Every word I throw at her she can learn and repeat.”

Joining Ramsay in the White team was JC De Vera, David Licauco, Michael Ver, and Boom Labrusca, among others.

Their team was bested by the Blue Team that included Wendell Ramos, Lance Carr and Diego Loyzaga by one point.
