Actress and celebrity mom Dimples Romana recently took to social media to express pride in her son, Alonzo, after he chose not to engage with a bully.
On her Threads account on February 11, Dimples shared a recent bullying incident that her son experienced.
“Our kuya Alonzo got in the car in tears last night cause he was being bullied by another boy,” she began.

Dimples clarified that her son’s tears were not a sign of weakness, but rather a reflection of restraint and maturity, revealing a side of him she deeply admires.
“Alonzo cries not because he can’t fight back and defend himself but because he’s capable but chooses not to engage, he knows better 🥹🤍 our boy,” she proudly said.
Her post quickly drew reactions from netizens, many of whom praised Alonzo for choosing peace over revenge. Some also encouraged Dimples to take further steps to address the incident.
“If the bully is with the same school with your son..maybe it should be reported to the teacher and make a disciplinary action towards that bully,” one netizen wrote.
“Mama Dimps 😭 I am sorry to hear this and hugs for Alonzo kasi he experienced bullying. As far as we parents don’t allow bullies good job for Alonzo for not engaging. And you know my kids are prone to bullies din kaya I can relate. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻,” another commented.
Wealth coach Chinkee Tan also weighed in, saying, “Proud of him. He needs counseling to process it.”
Meanwhile, the celebrity mom shifted the spotlight to a more joyful celebration the following day as Alonzo marked his 11th birthday.
“Happy 11th birthday to our kind, fun loving, and bright kuya alonzoasks 🥹✨,” she wrote.
Alongside her greeting were throwback photos of Alonzo, a dancing video with his father Boyet Ahmee, and another clip of Dimples dancing with her son. She also shared highlights of him playing basketball, one of the many activities he enjoys.
