Sofia Trazona, the trans child of former SexBomb member Izzy Trazona, recently took to social media to share that her biological father, Michael Navarro, has been fully supportive of her journey as a trans woman.
Sofia is the firstborn of Izzy with her previous partner, Michael. The former SexBomb member is now married to former StarStruck Season 1 contestant Alvin Aragon.

In a TikTok video posted on February 12, Sofia addressed a netizen’s comment regarding her relationship with her parents. When one commenter pointed out that her biological father has been in full support of her journey, Sofia proudly confirmed it.
“Sobrang totoo po ‘yun,” she shared.
Sofia, who was once known as Andrei before joining the drag community in 2023 under her new name, spoke candidly about how her father embraced her transition.
“Dumating sa point na si Papa, dati ang tawag niya sa akin ‘Andrei’ pero ngayon Sofia na,” she said.
She went on to detail how her father had stood by her not only emotionally, but also with with her transition journey as a trans woman and as a drag performer.
“[Kahit sa] pagda-drag o sa pagiging trans ko, sobrang supportive niya. Dumating din sa point na binilhan niya ako ng maraming makeup dahil nga supportive siya sa trabaho ko. Supportive siya sa ginagawa ko. Wala siyang nakikitang mali sa ginagawa ko. Pati hormones ko, siya na rin bumibili minsan.”
Because of the consistent encouragement she has received, Sofia admitted that she has grown even closer to her father.
“Kaya lately nagiging papa’s girl din ako kasi grabe talaga yung support na nakukuha ko sa kaniya. Naiintindihan niya kung ano yung gusto kong gawin. Naiintindihan niya kung ano ako. Mas kininikilala niya pa ako.”
Expressing her gratitude, she added, “Kaya [I’m] super super proud of my father. Maraming maraming salamat sa tatay ko.”
Her revelation about her father’s support comes days after she made headlines for sharing that she and her mother no longer see each other.
“No. di na po kami nagkikita ni mama,” she revealed on X last February 9.
Sofia explained that her decision stems from fear and a desire to protect her well-being, especially after experiencing emotional pain when she first came out.
“i also am scared na pagnakita niya na ako ngayon as a transwoman, iba yung reaction na mareceive ko and ayoko na bumalik sa dark place nung lumabas yung issue.”
“I just want validation and acceptance. wala ng iba,” she maintained.
In the replies, Sofia expressed sadness over missing family gatherings on her mother’s side, sharing how these moments have become difficult for her.
“It’s honestly so sad na di na ko nakakapunta sa mga reunion sa mom’s side, even birthdays kase whenever pumupunta ako lagi lang akong pinag-uusapan and pinagkakaisahan,” she added.
For her part, Izzy addressed the matter on social media, saying she still communicates with her child and even shared their last conversation following her reunion with the SexBomb Girls at their reunion concert series.
“☺️Ayoko na sana i-public ito, pero ang dami na naman lumalabas at nagcocomment even if they don’t know the truth behind…palaging ganern 😅 Dapat po wag ganon hehe. Sofia later clarified that her earlier post was simply meant to say that they no longer see each other in person due to the gap in their relationship.
“Dear don’t misinterpret the tweet… ang sinabi ko is di na kami nagkikita and pag nakita niya ako na travel na natatakot ako nabaka iba yung reception na mareceive ko,” she explained in response to a fan.
Amid these personal revelations, Sofia also shared that she is preparing for a major medical procedure this month, though she did not disclose further details.
“Will go through a big operation in a month… the girls will be girling and I can’t wait to fulfill my promises to myself as a woman 🤍,” she wrote on Instagram.
