Former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona Aragon has addressed allegations surrounding her relationship with her firstborn child, Sofia Trazona, following the latter’s recent statements online.
On her social media page, Izzy shared a screenshot of her last conversation with Sofia after her reunion with fellow SexBomb Girls members at their sold-out concert series.
“βΊοΈAyoko na sana i-public ito, pero ang dami na naman lumalabas at nagcocomment even if they don’t know the truth behind…palaging ganern π Dapat po wag ganon hehe. Pero pipilitin ko pa din intindihin ang mga people π Here is the last convo of my son and I. ♥οΈπ₯° God bless po! π #byHisstrength #bygrace," Izzy wrote.
In the exchange, Sofia first messaged her mother to congratulate her for sharing the stage again with her dance group members and close friends last Sunday.
“I'm so happy and proud of you!! in spite of everything you still (stuck) to what you know is right. naiiyak lang ako na nakita ko na nasa concert ka with your friends,” Sofia told her mom.
Izzy then replied, “salamat anak by His strength always. I miss you! Continue to be strong praying for you always. Mag-ingat ka palagi. I love you”
Sofia responded warmly, saying, “imissyou super! pinagpapray kita palagi... iloveyoutoo!!”
Izzy’s post came after Sofia previously responded to messages from supporters and addressed questions about her relationship with her mother, admitting that distance still remains between them as she continues her journey as a trans woman.
“No. di na po kami nagkikita ni mama,” she revealed. “i also am scared na pagnakita niya na ako ngayon as a transwoman, iba yung reaction na mareceive ko and ayoko na bumalik sa dark place nung lumabas yung issue.”
“I just want validation and acceptance. wala ng iba,” she added.
In the replies to her post, Sofia also shared the sadness she feels over being unable to attend family gatherings on her mother’s side, saying these occasions have become emotionally difficult for her.
“It’s honestly so sad na di na ko nakakapunta sa mga reunion sa mom’s side, even birthdays kase whenever pumupunta ako lagi lang akong pinag-uusapan and pinagkakaisahan,” she remarked.
In another post on her official X account, Sofia clarified that her earlier statement was only meant to share that she no longer sees her mother in person due to the gap in their relationship following her 2023 announcement that she is a drag queen.
“Dear don’t misinterpret the tweet… ang sinabi ko is di na kami nagkikita and pag nakita niya ako na travel na natatakot ako nabaka iba yung reception na mareceive ko,” Sofia explained in response to a fan who questioned her decision to post about her relationship with her mom.
