The Philippines’ Optimum Star Claudine Barretto shared that she had an accident while on the set for one of her shows earlier this week. Through an Instagram post, the actress recalled how she hurt herself and was rushed to the hospital after the accident happened.
Claudine had the accident last February 8 and only described the parts of her body that were injured without much details.
“I hit my head, back and hips really hard. I was rushed to Saint Lukes BGC. Now I am trying to recuperate,” she shared.
The actress expressed her gratitude towards her loyal fans who showed their concern on social media after hearing about the news. She assured them that she’ll be giving an update once she can.
“Thank you for all your love, concerns, and prayers. We are still waiting for the results and I will keep you posted,” she maintained.
For Claudine, it’s the love of her fans that’s giving her the energy to recover faster from the pain she’s feeling.
“Though I am in so much pain, your love, support, and prayers strengthens me. Thank you and Mahal ko po kayong lahat,” she ended.
Friends and fans of the Optimum Star sent their heartwarming messages in the comment section of her post. Other fans assured her that they’ll be praying for her safety as she continues her acting career.

Claudine recently mourned the passing of her mother, Inday Barretto. She showed the final moments she shared with the late Barretto matriarch before she died earlier this year.
