Fans were treated to a special surprise after Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo reunited with two of the country’s most celebrated musical figures, Lea Salonga and Rachelle Ann Go. The rare moment brought together three powerhouse Filipina artists whose careers have shaped Philippine music and theater across generations.
The reunion was shared on January 30 by Sarah’s husband, actor and businessman Matteo Guidicelli, who posted photos and videos capturing the moment. The three icons met after the couple watched the Manila run of Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular where Lea takes on the role of Madame Thénardier, while Rachelle portrays Fantine.
Away from the spotlight, Sarah, Lea, and Rachelle were seen spending time together in one room, a moment that immediately resonated with fans who rarely see the three in one frame.

One of the videos Matteo shared showed a lighthearted exchange between the three singers, with Lea and Rachelle playfully encouraging Sarah to stand between them for a photo. Sarah could be heard laughing as she resisted the idea.

Moments later, Sarah stepped aside and made sure Lea stood at the center of the photo, a gesture that quickly caught the attention of netizens. Many praised Sarah’s act as a sign of respect toward the globally acclaimed theater star, also noting how she addressed Lea with a salutation – something fans say reflects Sarah’s well-known humility despite her own stature in the industry.
Matteo’s post also fueled excitement among fans who have long dreamed of seeing the three artists share a project together.

Sarah also shares a long history with Rachelle, having performed alongside her early in their careers during ASAP’s mid-2000s segment Champions Showdown. At the time, both were rising singing champions with Sarah winning Star For A Night in 2003, and Rachelle taking the top spot in Search for a Star in 2004.
