It’s Showtime hosts MC and Lassy shared that their good friend and Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda has no plans to enter the realm of politics. In an interview with veteran talent manager and showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz, the two maintained that they know the Kapamilya actor so well that they are sure about his decision.
This comes after several netizens had shared the trending interview of award winning director Lav Diaz who wanted the comedian-actor to run for president in the next national elections.

“Kasi napaka-bleak ng future pag di natin mawasak yung wall na yon, yung Sara Duterte wall, which is coming, which is coming… The nightmare is coming. So it's only two years away, so we need to act,” Lav previously shared during his guesting on Ang Walang Kwentang Podcast.
When asked by Ogie if there’s any chance that Vice joining politics will happen, MC and Lassy assured him that there is none at all.
“Hindi siya tatakbo, kilala ko si Vice kasi last election marami na rin gusto tumakbo siya pero nag no siya talaga. Unang una, sisiraan lang siya,” MC explained.
MC then compared Vice with the former Vice President now Naga Mayor Leni Robredo who’s been receiving hate on social media despite having no plans to run for a higher position again.
“Si Ma'am Leni [Robredo] na nga lang di ba, hindi naman na tatakbo ng presidente, sinisiraan na ngayon. Nananahimik, ginogovern ang Naga pero sinisiraan siya. What more si Vice na sinasabi for President? Sisirain siya. Sisiraan siya–– yung gagawa ng kwento, di ba?” he continued.
He added that Vice would rather be heard by the politicians than be one himself.

“Kaya alam ko. Kilala ko si Vice, no siya talaga. Hindi niya gusto magkaroon ng pwesto sa politics. Ang gusto lang niya ay mapakinggan tayo ng mga pulitiko,” he expressed.
“At gusto niya may makulong na. May makulong na talaga,” Lassy shared.
As some of Vice’s closest friends, the two shared how proud they are of the Kapamilya star who’s been vocal about politics and using his platform to educate others.
“Proud kami na nag vovoice out,” Lassy said.
“Parang isa siya sa mga artistang kayang gawin yun na hindi natatakot na baka mawala yung fame, mawala yung mga endorsements kaya pumapalakpak kami,” MC added.
When asked if they have any plans on entering politics themselves, the comedic duo assured everyone as well that they are against the idea as well. For Lassy, he jokingly shared that he’d rather be a beauty queen instead.
