Actress Dimples Romana was one proud mom as she shared that her eldest child, Callie Ahmee, has officially started her first day at work.
On her social media page, Dimples reflected on how her once shy and reserved daughter is now stepping into adulthood and pursuing her chosen career.
“Our then shy, reserved, introverted child, has grown her steady wings and learned how to fly (quite literally 😉) , and now she soars and carries the flag of our tiny family out in the world!” Dimples wrote.
She recalled how Callie was often teased for being “too mahiyain” while growing up and was even questioned about her decision to pursue a career in a male-dominated field of aviation.
“Growing up she was always teased to be too mahiyain, even at one point was called out why she wanted to pursue a male dominated career. And yet years later, here comes our little Callie proving them all wrong 🥹🫶,” she added.
Dimples emphasized that Callie’s transformation into a strong and independent young woman came from her courage to make her own choices and carve her own path.
“And the best part, we didn’t even change her one bit. Still reserved and a bit shy but this time showing them all that a girl as young as her can make her own choices, follow her own path and soar high just like any dreamer,” she stated.

The actress also praised how effortlessly Callie carries herself in her new role, assuring her of the family’s unwavering support.
“Our fiercely beautiful Ate. Proud of you always. Dad @boyetahmee, kuya @alonzoasks , Elio and I will always be here to cheer you on! 🫶 P.s. you make flying ✈️ look so goooood 🥰,” she said.
She ended her message with a note of gratitude and faith, saying: “Salamat Panginoon, this wouldn’t have been possible if not for your grace and provision 🥹❤️ we thank YOU everyday. A very special Monday indeed 🤍.”

Callie is Dimples’s eldest child with her husband, Boyet Ahmee. They also have two sons, Alonzo and Elio.
Last year, Callie earned her college diploma with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Aviation Management from Southern Cross University in Australia.
“A young Filipina woman pursuing a career in a male-dominated field, doing it, making it. Dad and I are proud and so is every person who has seen you grow up from that shy, quiet little girl to this amazing human being, make these choices for yourself and showing up for every single day you had to, to follow your dream,” Dimples said.

In 2023, Callie passed the licensure examination for commercial pilots after completing the separate examination for private pilots in 2022 while in her early 20s. That same year, Dimples also celebrated her daughter’s milestone on social media after Callie completed her first solo flight as an aspiring pilot.
