Actress and singer Maymay Entrata shared a rare glimpse into her love life as she opened up about her new beau, Joaquin Enriquez, describing the relationship as both refreshing and deeply supportive.
In an interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Maymay admitted that being in a new relationship feels unfamiliar after spending two years on her own. Despite the adjustment, she expressed happiness and gratitude, noting that her partner feels like a male version of herself.
“Nakakapanibago naman po. Ako siyempre dalawang taon din pero happy po ako na ako lang po pero siguro po noong bliness ako ni Lord ng someone na parang ako raw pero boy version. Ayon po yung sabi rin ng friends and family ko. Sobrang blessed po ako,” Maymay said.
She also highlighted her partner’s consistent efforts to make the relationship work despite the distance. According to Maymay, Joaquin is based in the United States but makes it a point to visit her every month.
“Sobrang supportive niya po na every month siya pumupunta dito na after trabaho niya pupunta siya rito. Nakabase po kasi siya sa US,” Maymay said.
Maymay and Joaquin went public with their relationship in October, when Joaquin posted a reel on Instagram on October 19, showing the couple sharing a hug on the beach, with him planting a kiss on her forehead.
He captioned the post, "I finally found my Iris :)." In the comments, Maymay replied, "My Lover 🥹❤️," to which the actor responded, "@maymay Mahal Kita :)❤️."
The couple then celebrated their first Halloween together in Los Angeles, California, dressing up as a prince and princess. Reports indicate that Joaquin is a Filipino-American commercial model and rookie actor.

Recently, the couple seemingly celebrated Christmas together, sharing a video dancing to Sia’s hit, “Snowman.”
Before this relationship, Maymay confirmed in April 2024 that she had parted ways with her non-showbiz boyfriend, Aaron Haskell, whom she introduced to the public in 2022.
Meanwhile, Maymay is currently back in the acting scene with her role in the Kapamilya series ROJA. In the same interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, the “Amakabogera” singer described the project as a dream come true.
“Dati pa lang po, sobra-sobrang fan an ako ng action movies, action series and alam iyan ng mga sumusuporta sa akin and ang tagal ko rin hindi po nag-acting dahil gusto ko po una mag-focus sa music and mag-spend ng more time doon sa nanay ko noong buhay pa siya,” Maymay said.
“Thankful ako na bliness agad ako ni Lord after one month na mawala si Nanay and pinitch sa akin yung ROJA. tinanong ako kung ano pong genre and sabi po, action kaya maiyak-iyak din po ako talaga kaya sabi ko yes po,” she expressed.
