Leon Barretto expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his sister, actress Julia Barretto, for supporting his education and helping him finish college.
"I wanted to say thank you to Julia because for the past few years, she's been the reason why I've been able to go to college and for that I really want to say thank you," he said in his latest YouTube vlog.
He emphasized that his dedication to completing his studies was also a way of honoring Julia’s generosity. "There's a reason why I worked so hard not only for myself but also for mom and for you too, Julia. Thank you for making my dreams come true by putting me into school," he stated.
Leon also acknowledged the role of their mother, Marjorie Barretto, in shaping his outlook on education. "And of course mom for raising me and making me see the value of school in general."

Reflecting on his college journey, Leon described his graduation as a milestone he will always treasure.
"I can't believe we're here. I can't believe that I'm actually done with school. Definitely it was such a chapter that I will forever appreciate. I worked so hard, most especially the last four years here in college. It was something that I really valued and before anything, before I wanted to start any dream of mine, it was important for me to prioritize school at the end of the day," he stated.

Leon finished his studies at the University Asia & The Pacific.
Previously, Leon also penned a heartfelt post on social media, as he graduated in the same year as Marjorie.
"Not a lot of people can say they graduated college the same year as their mom. it’s really never too late—congratulations, mom! truly an inspiration to my siblings and me ♥️🎓 #2025graduates," he posted on Instagram.
