Andi Eigenmann shared a glimpse of her family’s dream home in Siargao, which is now nearing completion.
"It's not yet done. We're almost there, konting kayod pa but we are going to show what we have so far. This is our dream house. Everyone has a different definition of what their dream house looks like and ours is this one," said Andi at the start of the tour in her latest YouTube vlog.
The actress explained that their main goal was to create a home with enough space for the entire family. "All I need is that the house has enough for us to live comfortably, and for all the kids to have their rooms the way they have always wanted,” she highlighted.
Andi began the tour with her eldest daughter Ellie's room, which will feature a coastal modern theme. "It has its own area in the house because Ellie is already growing up, she's a teenager. She's turning 14 this year so she deserves her own little space where she can just hang out either by herself or with her friends," she said.
Moving on to the living room, Andi shared that the space would have a lounge area and television. Beside it is an open-concept kitchen, designed to make family meals more special.
"This is my favorite part of the house. I wanted the kitchen to be big enough, just the right size to openly prepare these dishes for my family while they are just around the house," she shared.
The dining area will feature large windows that overlook the garden. Andi added that the overall theme of their common areas will be tropical-midcentury modern.
Next, Andi showed the second floor, where the bedrooms will be located.
For her younger children, Lilo and Koa, the rooms will follow a fun and earthy theme. "We have more windows here in Lilo and Koa's room as gusto namin maraming sunlight ang makapasok sa bahay because we like the natural sun, and the view of nature to be around when we are inside our rooms," the actress shared.
For the first time, Andi and her partner Philmar Alipayo will also have their own bedroom. "For the first time in eight years since Ellie was five years old, palagi kaming magkakasama sa isang room so first time namin magkakaroon ng sarili naming room," she revealed.
Their space will also include a yoga deck on the veranda and Andi's personal office.
While the family is not rushing to finish construction, Andi is hopeful that they can celebrate Christmas in their new home.
"Hindi kami nagmamadali or umaasa na matapos kami at a certain time because that's the key to being heartbroken. Mas nakaka-stress or nakaka-highblood or nagmamadali or may mini-meet na deadline. Since it is our house hindi naman kami nagmamadali, pero sana talaga makapag-Christmas kami diyan,” she said.
