The JMFyang love team of JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith has been making waves in television, film, and even on the runway.

During Bench Fashion Week, PUSH ABS-CBN had the chance to catch up with the two as they shared their experience at the big fashion event.

JM also shared how excited he was to walk the runway once again alongside Fyang: “Excited akong rumampa with her.”

When asked about their preparations, JM quickly joked, “Nag-gym ako. Nagbasa ako ng libro,” to which Fyang playfully replied, “Sinungaling.” She added that they also rehearsed for the runway.

So, ayan rehearsal lang,” she mentioned.

Meanwhile, JM is set to star in the Cinemalaya film Child No. 82, and Fyang shared how proud she is of her love team partner even if she is not part of it.

At same time, sobrang happy ako sa kanya. Ako yung unang papalakpak sa kanya pag pinalabas na yung Child No. 82,” Fyang said.

She also admitted that it was difficult to be apart from JM during his weeks-long lock-in taping in Ilocos Norte.

First time namin maghiwalay noon na ganun katagal.

Fyang also revealed how JM worked hard for the upcoming film: “Nakaka-proud kasi sa buong two weeks na puyat, pagod, at iyak siya nang iyak dahil sa eksena.”

JM candidly joked that during his emotional scenes, he wasn’t really crying for the character because of Fyang: “Anong sa eksena? Sa’yo!”

The breakthrough love team also shared their gratitude to all the fans who supported their digital series Ghosting.

Grateful kami na sinubaybayan nila mula noon until now sa finale,” JM said.

Fyang revealed that a part two is already in the works, made possible by all the support and feedback from their fans.

The reality show alumni also opened up about the biggest lessons they learned about each other while working on Ghosting.

Fyang, for her part, also had nothing but good words to say about JM.

“Everytime na may work siya hindi siya basta work lang. Talagang isinasapuso niya.

Aside from Ghosting Part 2, JMFyang fans can also look forward to seeing them in the upcoming Shake, Rattle, & Roll installment at the Metro Manila Film Festival. JM even teased that there’s still more in store.
