"Please wag na tayong makalimot this time."

These were the words of Bianca Gonzalez following the Trillion Peso March on EDSA on Sunday, September 21.

The television host urged her fellow Filipinos to remain vocal in calling out corrupt practices in the government.

"Itong laban na 'to goes beyond today. Alam kong mahirap pagsabayin ang lahat ng ginagawa natin araw araw sa bahay, pamilya, trabaho, sarili, tapos dadagdag pa itong problema sa mga KURAKOT na opisyal. But let us not forget: THEIR CORRUPTION AFFECTS HOW WE LIVE OUR LIVES EVERY DAY," she remarked in a post on her Instagram Stories.

Bianca added: "Mula sweldo, traffic, public transport, baha, eskuwela, bilihin, gastusin, everything is political. Let us continue to make our voice heard and hold them accountable."

The television host, together with her family, joined the mass protest on Sunday to call for accountability and transparency in government amid ongoing corruption issues.

"Our children deserve better. FILIPINOS DESERVE BETTER. Tama na ang bulok at kurakot na sistema!!! Panagutin at pagbayarin ang mga walang pusong nagnanakaw ng serbisyo at dangal ng taumbayan!!!! LAGI KANG IPAGLALABAN, PILIPINAS 🇵🇭🙌🏽🥺," she said in a separate Instagram post as she shared the snapshots of her family during the protest.

Bianca also recently looked back on her experience joining the 2013 rally against the pork barrel fund scam, sharing a photo she captured during the Million People March at Luneta at that time.

The photo shows a masked man holding a poster that read: "The people should not be afraid of their government. It’s the government who should be afraid of their people."

Reflecting on its relevance today, Bianca wrote: "Over a decade later, this photo remains relevant. I took this at the Million People March at Luneta during the pork barrel fund scam in 2013. And now in 2025, eto na naman tayo."

The television host also opened up about why she chooses to hold on to hope despite ongoing issues of corruption in the government.

"Someone asked me recently, how do I not lose hope? Ang hirap to not feel helpless, when those supposed to defend and protect us, sila pa ang nagpapahirap, nanloloko, nanlilinlang sa taumbayan. But despite everything, I choose to still keep the hope alive. Because what other choice do we have? Filipinos definitely deserve better," she remarked.
