After Coachella announcement, BINI meets fans at Enderun

After it was announced that BINI would be performing at Coachella 2026, the Nation's Girl Group headed straight to Enderun on Tuesday to meet their fans at an Akari event.

As supporters cheered for them and yelled their names, Aiah, Mikha, Maloi, Colet, Jhonna, Sheena, Stacey, and Gwen made a grand entrance, singing their hit song “Salamin, Salamin” — full of life, with the presence of true pop idols.

Aside from Gen Z, women of a particular age danced to their songs "Pantropiko" and "Shagidi" at the event, marking a magical moment for the group, who had experienced controversies prior to the Coachella announcement. 

BINI also chatted with their fans and addressed their questions, such as what they believe is their group's legacy.

“The authenticity, the joy, and the pride we bring. We’re just honest with ourselves. We want to normalize that our group is not perfect. We’re all humans. Also, our pop songs,” Aiah replied.

Meanwhile, Gwen revealed to supporters that if not in entertainment, she would be a flight attendant or interior designer.

BINI collaborates with Akari 

As the country celebrates BINI's upcoming participation at Coachella 2026, Akari expressed excitement about their partnership with the most streamed female P-pop group.

“We started in March this year. We're happy to be working with the best in the Philippines, and we know that BINI embodies what it means to be a true Filipino on both a local and international scale,” said Gerard Tan, Akari’s digital technology director.

“We crafted nine fans in collaboration with BINI for the Filipino people. These are available at different pricing points. We recognize that Filipinos come from diverse backgrounds, with varying lifestyles and needs,” Tan added. 

Tan also told ABS-CBN that they are satisfied with the BINI girls as ambassadors and hope to expand the partnership.

“We are happy and proud of them. Congratulations to them sa Coachella. That’s what makes them the best. They get to perform on an international stage. We look forward to it,” he ended.
