Awra Briguela is taking her education seriously as she gets ready to enter college in the near future. In the recent vlog of social media influencer Michelle Dy where the former child star was a guest, she expressed her desire for getting that college diploma and putting more focus on her studies.

Awra recently graduated from the Humanities and Social Sciences strand of Senior High School program of the University of the East.

She explained in the vlog as well why it took her several years before she decided to finish her high school education. According to her, she found online learning difficult and her life as a working student became a factor as well.

“Marami kasing nagtatanong kung bakit grade 12 pa daw ako. Akala nila college na yung inaaral ko. A lot of you guys [may] not know, nag stop ako for five years since pandemic kasi hindi ko talaga kaya yung online school,” she shared.

Now that her priorities have shifted, Awra expressed how she realized the importance of getting proper education. From being a working student, the Kapamilya star took a break from the industry in the past years to focus on her education full-time.

“This time I need to focus on my studies and get my diploma…

“This time around, they know na full student ako [and] walang excuses,” she continued.

Though she hasn’t shared which university she’ll be attending in the future, she shared the program that she wants to get into if given the chance–– it’s a choice between Mass Communications or Multimedia Arts.

Meanwhile, the Kapamilya actress admitted that she is slowly getting the groove back when it comes to her study habits due to her five-year break. She maintained, however, that she is confident about her work ethics and none of her groupmates in school can call her out.

I’m a very good speaker, wala na akong kakaba-kaba pag mag rerecite na ako sa harap,” she maintained.
