Athena Magallanes, daughter of Rufa Mae Quinto, expressed her love and gratitude for her late father, Trevor Magallanes, through an Instagram post shared by the actress-comedian earlier this week. He passed away last month which was confirmed by the family to the surprise of Rufa’s fans.
Rufa Mae and Trevor had been married since 2016 and shared one child together.

“The love string will last forever! Thank you Daddy! 🤍Mahal kita,” Athena wrote.
Several photos of Athena and Trevor throughout the years were shared in the post. All of the photos showcased the strong bond the father and daughter had with one another.
Friends and fans of the actress expressed their warm and comforting messages in the comment section of the post. Other netizens assured Rufa Mae and Athena that Trevor would be in their prayers.

Rufa Mae previously released a statement about her husband’s passing and flew to the US alongside Athena to sort things out. She expressed her and her family’s grief as they go through the next chapter in their lives without Trevor.
“I’m deeply saddened by this development. Hope [you] give us time to mourn his loss, especially my daughter. Just pray for us that we will get [through] this by the help of God,” she shared.
“Thank u very much and pls give us respect & pray for us in this time of trial,” she previously said.
