Andi Eigenmann recently took to social media to share snapshots of the special moments she spent with her sisters, Max and Stevie Eigenmann, in Siargao.
"FINALLY got to spend some time together with my sisters @maxeigenmann @stevieeigengirl and niece @gabbieeigenmann on the island," she said.
The Eigenmann clan is a big family, with many notable actors among them. More than being showbiz royalty, what stands out istheir tight bond with each other. They often share sneak peeks of their family gatherings where they celebrate each other and even engage in fun video challenges.
Andi, though she lives full time in the island paradise, remains very much connected with the rest of the family. She would occassionally fly back to Manila, or host family members who visit her in Siargao.
"Loved this fun-filled week with the fam!🫧 Hopefully everyone else gets jealous and hurries alreadyy!😆🏝️☀️"
In her post, Andi and her sisters can be seen swimming in turquoise waters, surfing, and enjoying a meal by the shore.
Andi relocated to Siargao in 2017.
She's engaged to surfing champion Philmar Alipayo. They have two kids Lilo and Koa. Her daughter with former partner Jake Ejercito, Ellie, has also been staying with her in Siargao.
In a social media post back in July 2023, Andi shared that one of the most fulfilling things for her as a parent living on the island with her family is seeing her children spend time outdoors.
"I know this varies for each parent, but I get that fulfilling feeling when all three of my kids initiate a good amount of time outdoors to play, or simply just to be outside," she posted on her Instagram page.
Andi relayed that growing up, nature was a big part of her life and she wants her children to be close to nature too.
"Nature and being outdoors has been a big part of me since I was little, and it's healed me in so many ways. They deserve that too," she said. "When I had this thought, I decided to take videos and give you a glimpse of all the endless ideas children can come up with to entertain themselves while surrounded with nature."
In October 2023, Andi and Philmar opened Happy Islanders Surf Club in Siargao, a café and surf shop offering several healthy food options.
Andi described the new venture as another dream turned into reality, with the support of her friends and family. The café offers a variety of healthy dishes that she personally researched and developed.
"Those who know me well know how deep I dove into the whole science of nutrition when I first went on this healthful journey. I love coming up with new ideas to present nutrient-dense meals in an exciting and yummy way," she shared.
