Actress and social media influencer Bea Borres revealed the name of her soon to be daughter for the very first time. In an interview with vlogger Toni Gonzaga, the Kadenang Ginto star shared how she found the perfect name for her first born–– Victoria Hope.
Bea announced pregnancy to the public earlier this month to the surprise of her followers. The father of her daughter is her ex-boyfriend who she has already broken up with prior to the announcement.

The content creator recalled how her best friend, actress Andrea Brillantes, was the first one to bring up the name Hope as a possible name for her baby in one of their conversations. She shared how both of them were dealing with their own problems at the time.
“Si Blythe, she texted me because she was also going through something. Ako naman, umiiyak ako kasi I was going through a breakup tapos she texted me na ‘Bea, sana girl ‘yung baby mo tapos ang pangalan niya ay Hope’,” she recalled.
It was the first time that Bea revealed something about her baby as she admitted wasn’t given the opportunity to do so in the past. She was hounded by several rumors about her pregnancy before she even announced it herself–– something she found unfair.
“I was at my rock bottom pero I feel like and I know sa mga public na sinabi ko, punong-puno na ako ng hope ngayon. The hope na everything will be okay. Na binigay talaga siya ni God sa akin kasi may reason siya at hindi basta basta lang,” she expressed.
“Just because of that text and because of that word, parang na-feel ko na ‘ay may name na siya, so ke-keep ko na to’ and nagkaroon ako ng hope na hindi pa talaga mage-end yung life ko. Mas naging accepting talaga ako, kaya ever since kahit hindi ko pa alam ‘yung gender, Hope na talaga yung name ko for my baby,” she added.

Adding Victoria to her daughter’s name was a decision she made when she realized how “victorious” hope is when an action to it is added.
“Actually, ang full name niya is Victoria Hope. Kasi syempre ‘pag lagyan mo ng action ‘yung hope, victorious siya,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Bea is hopeful that despite having no partner at the moment, she will be alright since she has the support from her family and friends.
“Kahit na wala akong partner at kasama, I know that everything will be okay,” she said.
