For Carmina Villarroel’s birthday this year, her husband Zoren Legaspi and their twins Mavy and Cassy planned something extra special for their matriarch. Using inspiration from Carmina’s wish she could have her own solo concert on her 50th birthday, they threw a surprise party with their closest friends in and outside showbiz at a bar and lounge in BGC, Taguig City.
Cassy shared what went down during her mom’s special night and shared snapshots and included a reel showing just how suprised Carmina was when she stepped into the venue that night. In her most recent Instagram post last August 21, Cassy wrote, “We pulled off a sweet surprise a couple of days ago for the sweetest woman alive 🤍. Mama got her dream party of having her own “solo concert” for her 50th birthday hehe. So much love all in one room for the golden woman 💫. Happiest birthday to the person who’s touched many lives including mine, to the purest and most genuine soul, my mama . You will forever be the strongest person I know and the woman I always desire to be.
I love you so much mama 🙏🏻.”

In her own post, Carmina shared a reel from her party held at the Fable Cafe and Lounge which had her closest friends from the industry in attendance like Gelli de Belen, Candy Pangilinan, Aiko Melendez, Ruffa Gutierrez, Karla Estrada, Eric Quizon, and Richard Yap. “Here’s to 50 years of blessings and a night I’ll never forget. 😍🙏🏻💙,” Carmina wrote.
Cassy also shared a sweet message for her mom with whom she shares a very close relationship. “I’m very, very grateful and I’m very, very lucky. And I’m proud to say that I’m the luckiest daughter in the world because God gave me you as my mom. And of course, Happy 50th birthday. I love you mommy!”
This was followed by her twin brother Mavy, who shared, “Cheers to you today and always. And I will always say this until my last breath, I will love you forever, I will love you for always, for as long as I’m living, my mommy, you’ll be. Cheers! Happy birthday.”
Carmina’s husband of 13 years and partner of more than two decades also dedicated a post to his wife, sharing a video of her performing a song on stage that same night. “50 years of stories, lessons, and battles won. ✨

In an earlier post on her Instagram account, Carmina shared photos from her birthday pictorial with celebrity photographer Mark Nicdao. She wrote, “Half a century, but my heart still feels 20 and my soul 30. 🤭 Forever grateful for life, love and everything in between. 🙏🏻 Cheers to more adventures ahead. 🥂”
