Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemate Ralph de Leon revealed the actor he hopes to work with in the future.
"Siguro po in the near future sana po sina direk Coco (Martin) with Batang Quiapo kasi gusto ko po talagang mag-action din eh. Kasi with my martial arts background, feeling ko po talaga magagamit ko po 'yun," he remarked.
Ralph shared that his martial arts skills would allow him to pull off the action choreography. "Mga choreographed stunts po. Parang ako, it's something that I really want to do," he shared.
The Kapamilya star relayed that he also wants to work with actors of his generation. "And then siyempre I want to work with mga ka-age ko po na di ko pa nakaka-work — sina Donny (Pangilinan) and Belle (Mariano) po siyempre," he stated.
In the same interview, Ralph was asked how he keeps himself grounded and his values intact with amid his newfound fame. "I feel like what really works for me talaga is keeping my people with me and hopefully those are the housemates, kasi sabay-sabay naman po kaming nakaka-experience ng mga ganito," he said.
Ralph also discussed what initially encouraged him to join the entertainment industry, as he comes from a family of entrepreneurs.
"For me 'yung showbiz po talaga, it's something that I really learned to love also. As much as people say na hindi ko po kailangan mag-trabaho, sobrang yaman na 'yan, generational wealth... pero ako po kasi talaga hindi po ako umaasa dun eh. From a very early age [my family] really taught me the value of working for what you have, of hopefully being independent one day," he remarked.
The actor remarked that he sees himself growing in show business.
"Gusto ko po ng trabaho talaga na over the years na hindi po ako magsasawa, and showbiz was an industry that I saw myself growing in. I just wanted to try everything first so when I got the opportunity to model, sige try natin. And after ng modeling, nag-commercials po ako. Nag-try po ako ng hosting konti for backstage po ng Miss Universe Philippines. And then parang sabi ko parang may kulang, parang hindi po ako nafu-fulfill masyado sa ginagawa ko dito so might as well let's go into showbiz, let's try it out, let's see how it works," he said.
