Meteor Garden star Jerry Yan recently visited the grave of his late co-star Barbie Hsu in Taiwan.

According to a report by Next Apple News, Jerry was accompanied by host-actress Janet Chia, chairwoman of the iconic Taipei 101 skyscraper, and her husband Wang Chao-chieh during the visit at the Chin Pao San Cemetery in New Taipei.
The group reportedly spent more than 10 minutes at Barbie's resting place, with Jerry becoming visibly emotional as he paid tribute to his longtime friend and colleague.
Barbie tragically passed away at the age of 48 from pneumonia. Her sister, Dee Hsu, shared the news on February 3 via her manager to the Taiwanese media.
"Thanks for all the concern. Over the Chinese New Year period, our entire family travelled to Japan for a holiday, and my most beloved, kindest elder sister Barbie came down with influenza-related pneumonia and has unfortunately left us," the statement read as reported by Star ETtoday according to a report by The Straits Times.

Jerry previously took to social media to pen a tribute for Barbie following her passing.
On the Chinese social media platform Weibo, Jerry wrote as per English translation: "Thankful for meeting you. In your carefree, childlike years, you always say, treat every day as your last. Have a great time. I hope you walk slowly this time. From now on, in another world, there will be no worries and the years will be peaceful."
Jerry played the role of Dao Ming Si in Meteor Garden while Barbie portrayed the role of Shan Cai.
Meteor Garden is a Taiwanese adaptation of the Japanese comic series Hana Yori Dango. The series follows the story of a working class girl, Shan Cai, and her entanglement with a group of rich and influential students known as the "F4" (Flower Four).

Back in July, F4 members Jerry, Vic Chou, Van Ness Wu, and Ken Chu were reunited on stage in Taiwan after they joined Mayday as special guests. The group performed their hit song "Meteor Rain," bringing a wave of nostalgia to the fans.

In June, it was reported that F4 was gearing up for a reunion concert in 2026.

According to The Straits Times, Taiwan publication Mirror Media reported that the members have agreed to reunite for a concert marking their 25th debut anniversary. B'in Music is the company arranging the said comeback.
