Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition housemates Mika Salamanca and Will Ashley had nothing but kind words for Kapamilya singer Klarisse De Guzman, whom they previously partnered with inside the PBB house.
In a recent vlog on Mika’s YouTube channel, Will reflected on the value of his Kapamilya duos, including Ralph De Leon, River Joseph, Esnyr Ranollo, Brent Manalo, Bianca De Vera, and Klarisse.
“Naging malaking help sila sa akin and naging malaking impact mga naging ka-duo ko sa loob ng bahay. Ayon yung something na trineasure ko talaga sa mga susunod pa,” Will shared.
He then revealed that Klarisse was his favorite partner among the Kapamilya housemates.
“Ate Klang kasi doon nagstart lumabas yung personality ko kung paano ako ngayon. Malaking help si Ate Klang talaga sa akin,” Will said.
He noted how true to what they called Klarisse now, “their “Mowm,” she also made him and the other housemates feel her motherly care.
“All in all package talaga (si Klarisse) na nanay mo, kapatid mo, kaibigan mo. Lahat kumbaga gagawin niya for you kahit hindi na kayo magka-duo, pagsasabihin ka pa rin niya kahit na alam niya na pwede iyon magamit sa iyo,” Will continued.

Mika echoed Will’s sentiments, sharing how Klarisse looked after her duos and never treated PBB purely as a competition.
“Si Ate Klang, I remember is one of those people na hindi lang siya magiging ka-duo mo sa loob ng bahay, talagang ipoprotect ka niya,” Mika said.
She went on: “Si Ate Klang yung isa sa mga housemates talaga na hindi tinitingnan yung PBB as competition talaga (kahit na) I know, we know and everyone knows na PBB is a competition pero aksi when you are inside, hindi.
“Si Ate Klang sumali siya hindi lang para manalo din pero ipakilala na rin ang sarili niya.”
Mika and Will were part of the fan-favorite “Pamilya De Guzman” alongside Klarisse, Shuvee Etrata, and Esnyr Ranollo. The group previously reunited for a tech brand’s concert, joined by extended “family” members Brent Manalo, Ralph De Leon, and Charlie Fleming.

A sitcom for Pamilya De Guzman is also in the works, as Esnyr revealed during The Big ColLove fan concert. Klarisse and Will will also appear together in the upcoming movie Bar Boys: After School.

Aside from their housemates, both Mika and Will admitted they miss the peaceful life inside the iconic yellow house.
“Oo. I’m grateful for the blessings and opportunities pero iba yung feeling na nandoon ka sa loob. Sobrang peaceful, wala kang iniisip. Doon ko lang talaga na-appreciate yung bahay. Sobrang masalimuot ng outside world,” Will admitted.
Mika also shared, “Noong lumabas kami ni Will sa Bahay ni Kuya, lagi kami naguusap sa mga nababasa namin, sa mga napapanood namin. Kumbaga wala na kaming shield na po-protekta sa amin sa lahat ng pwede sabihin ng tao sa mga ginagawa namin.”

Mika was named the first-ever Kapuso Big Winner of the celebrity edition alongside her Kapamilya duo partner Brent, while Will and Ralph placed second.
In the vlog, Mika also asked Will in a lie detector test on his take being called the “kaldag king” in the house, the things he regretted doing inside the house, his relationships with fellow housemates, and his reaction to the Big Night results.
Will also openly admitted that he had a crush on Mika—a confession he first made during their boys’ night out in PBB.
In return, Mika also took the lie detector test, answering questions about whether she attended a personality workshop before entering the house, moments of jealousy during her stay, feeling hurt by the “nagpakatotoo rankings,” and even admitting she had a crush on a fellow housemate.
