It was a touching moment when Bela Padilla visited Kim Chiu during the latter's taping in Cebu.
In a post on her social media page, Bela documented her journey to surprise Kim, who is currently filming her romance-suspense series The Alibi with Paulo Avelino.

“She might think that I flew and drove all this way to make her feel good but days like this and seeing that she’s doing well makes me feel 100% better too 💕,” Bela first wrote.
In a video she shared, Bela revealed how she quietly entered Kim’s resting area before surprising her, bringing the actress to tears.
“The taureans in us make us so strong that we refuse to say anything until we’ve resolved everything on our own. But by now, I think I can read Kim like a book and she doesn’t need to tell me anymore when I should show up,” Bela added.
She also recalled how Kim flew to Switzerland to be by her side during a difficult time.
“The same way I didn’t need to ask her to come and hang out with me in Zurich when my dad passed away. We didn’t talk about his passing we just had a great day doing things that I think he would have loved too. 🥹💕,” she said.
Bela went on to express admiration for Kim: “You’re one of my smartest, strongest friends, Kim. No one needs to tell you what to do, because you have such a strong moral compass! 🙏🏻 I know that things can get hard sometimes…the world keeps toughening us up but I will always remind you that our softness is what carries us through everything.”
She ended her message by wishing Kim some well-deserved rest.
“I hope you get a few days to rest and breathe after this cycle of taping, always proud of you, Kimmy! 💕 as I will keep on saying…anytime, anywhere 🥹,” she shared.
Kim responded with equal affection: “The sweetest independent gurlie ever!!!! Love you momsy!!!!!😭😭😭😍”
She also described their friendship as “lowkey but pure.”
“Thank you, moms! 🥹🥹🥹Never imagined na sobrang busy mo, you’d go this far, grabe, gulat talaga ako! Thank you!!!! We’re sooo twins na kahit walang sinasabi, we can already feel each other’s thoughts. Our friendship may be lowkey, but it’s pure quality.❤️,” Kim expressed.
She went on: “Thank you for going above and beyond, for flying to Cebu just for me. I wish I could give back every bit of time and effort you’ve given. Nahihiya talaga ako, moms, but babawi ako, pag okay okay na. 🙏🏻 I love you, my Taurean twin! 🩷💛🩷.”
Kim and Bela are known for being part of the “AngBeKi” trio alongside Angelica Panganiban. Over the years, the two have shared many touching and fun friendship moments on social media.
Aside from Bela’s visit, Kim was also visited by ABS-CBN’s head of TV production and Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi during her lock-in taping for The Alibi.
On Facebook, Kim posted photos from Direk Lauren’s visit. “Thank you, Direk (Lauren Dyogi), for visiting us. We truly appreciate it.”
