BINI member Aiah recently took fans along on her journey to Mongolia, sharing highlights of her trip through a TikTok travel diary.
The singer explored the country’s rich culture and scenic landscapes by trying local dishes, wearing traditional Mongolian attire, embarking on a road trip, and immersing herself in nature.
Among the highlights of her trip was the experience of sleeping inside a traditional Mongolian ger, also known as a yurt. According to National Geographic, a yurt is a "portable, circular dwelling made of a lattice of flexible poles and covered in felt or other fabric. They are a sturdy, reliable type of tent."
Yurts have served as the traditional form of housing in Central Asia, especially in Mongolia, for thousands of years.
Aiah also had the chance to also attend a live Mongolian concert, where she listened to traditional music performed using local instruments.
Aiah, along with her fellow BINI members, recently wrapped up their 15-city BINIverse world tour, which included stops in Dubai, London, Toronto, New York City, Boston, Rosemont, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and more.
Following the tour, BINI staged a homecoming fan meeting at the SM Mall of Asia Arena back in June.
In a November 2024 interview with Metro, BINI Aiah opened up about how she's been adjusting to life as in idol.
She shared that while the nonstop schedules and being constantly in the spotlight took some getting used to, she's learning to adapt and is especially thankful for the support system that makes time for her, no matter how last-minute.
"It's either super planned out months in advance or it’s spontaneous talaga. [Kung early kami natapos with something,] I call my friends, 'Hey, I'm free na. Ano, tara?' I'm grateful I have friends like that," she relayed.
Even with her fellow BINI members, Aiah shows love through quality time. "Like 'Tara, labas tayo' or 'Let’s do this together.' Parang anything now, we get to do together," she shared.
