MANILA -- Following his acclaimed performance in the hit series “Incognito,” which earned him the Outstanding Asian Star award at the 2025 Seoul International Drama Awards, Kapamilya star Daniel Padilla is now set to return to the big screen.
According to the actor, while he truly enjoyed working on the series, he also misses doing films.
“Very soon. May niluluto ako after 'Incognito.' Miss na miss ko na gumawa ng pelikula. Masaya ang series pero my heart nasa pelikula,” he said in an interview during his contract signing as the new face of forwarding company KPC in Taguig City, Monday, July 28.
Padilla is eyeing on continuing his action star era on the silver screen.
“Nandito ang momentum natin ngayon. I really do enjoy action. After 'Incognito,' ang hirap bumalik,” he said.
The Kapamilya star, however, clarified that he is still open to doing other genres such as romcoms.
“I've had my share of romcoms... Kung maganda naman at sobra ako nagandahan,why not? I love that genre,” he explained.
“Pero magkakaroon na ng meeting. Very soon malalaman kung ano ang project, kung ano maganda gawin para sa 'kin,” he said.
