It’s been an eventful month for actor and model Ralph De Leon since he left the Pinoy Big Brother house, where he and his duo partner Will Ashley won as first runners up in the Celebrity Collab Edition. In his exclusive interview on PUSH BETS this month, Ralph talks about his life before and after becoming a housemate.
“Grabe po talaga ang overwhelming amount of support and love talaga na binibigay sa amin ng tao and grabe sobrang busy din na medyo malapit na din talaga ako magkasakit ngayon kaya ganito ang boses ko. Pero push pa rin, sobrang blessed talaga. Since we got out, puro guestings. Next month, may mga mall shows kaming planned so I’m happy to be able to get to talk to different people, to really share my story pa, kung ano yung mga nangyari sa loob ng bahay and siyempre tungkol sa akin sa labas. So I mean, we really wanna take these kinds of opportunities. To be able na, mas magpakilala pa,” he told Push Bets host Gary Lastrilla.
During the interview, Ralph shared his reaction to being called a walking green flag by his fans. “Hindi po masyado, actually si River (Joseph) yung green flag sa amin. As in yun yung pinakatatak kay River. Ako masaya siyempre na positive yung tingin ng tao sa akin kasi, of course we would want nothing but to also show who we really are sa loob ng bahay. And na-take nila yun as green flag, eh di okay di ba? I’ll just keep being me, keep showing who I am and continue being the green flag that everyone wants also,” he admitted.
The 24-year-old model turned actor explained that he tries his best to stay humble, even with their growing fame after leaving the PBB house.
“I think again it’s also it goes back to people around me na lagi talaga nila akong ni-re-remind na always stay grounded. Like just hearing those words siyempre lalo na pag na-lo-lost ka na sa mga bagay bagay na ganito na everyday may bagong ganap, everyday may ma-mi-meet ka nag-chi-cheer para sa ‘yo, nag-su-support. Siyempre if you don't have the right people around you, lalaki at lalaki talaga yung ulo mo.
"Thankfully, yun nga, the people around me even sila Direk Lauren (Dyogi), sila Tita Cory (Vidanes), they always say, always be humble kasi ayun. From what I’ve learned also from yung mga veterans na nakausap ko, parang that's the only way you’re gonna be able to last in this industry. Kung maging humble ka, kung maayos nga yung pakikisama mo sa ibang tao, at the end of the day ayun, pag okay ka katrabaho,” he explained.

With a promising career that is growing everyday, Ralph also shared how see hopes to see himself five years from now, “Yung trajectory, naiba po talaga. Feeling ko ngayon, with where I am now, I just want to be an established face in this industry, established actor in five years time na sana by that time, napatunayan ko na talaga yung galing ko sa craft.”
