Kris Aquino has opened up about a new health challenge she is facing, revealing that she is now suffering from low blood pressure.

In an interview with Mama Loi on her YouTube vlog, Kris shared, "Ang latest problem ko is that my blood pressure is now very low from being very high and iyon 'yung bago na na-diagnose sa akin."

In the same vlog, Kris also revealed that she is now living with 11 autoimmune conditions.

Despite her ongoing health predicament, the TV host said her faith in God remains strong. "Kinuha ko na lahat pero I'm at peace because feeling ko naman binibigay sa akin lahat ito to test my faith," she remarked.

She went on: "Matibay ang pananampalataya ko. Siguro parang it's God's saying na, 'Kaya mo pa ba? Magtitiwala ka pa?'"

Kris also admitted that she is not yet ready to face death. "I am not ready. I don't think anybody is ready to say that they are ready to die especially kung bata pa 'yung mga anak nila."

The TV host also expressed her gratitude to the family who allowed her to stay in their property in the Philippines as she continues her battle with her health challenges. "To the family who allowed me to stay in their property, tumulong talaga sa paghinga. Nag-clear ito (pointing her nose) and I've been breathing very well," she said.

On Instagram last Sunday, July 20, Kris went into detail about the 11 autoimmune conditions she is currently battling during a Q&A with her followers.

"I now have 9 primary autoimmune diseases , # 10 is a result of the 9, and I have an 11th disease that came about because of my lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren’s (Mayo Clinic defines it as a 'disorder of your immune system identified by its two most common symptoms — dry eyes and a dry mouth'), and a few of my other autoimmune diseases. I love my sons and they aren't ready to lose me- especially Bimb who just turned 18. Thank you for loving me," she wrote.

Kris also clarified that she has never had cancer. "I have always been cancer free. I think my having another PET SCAN on the day before Mother’s Day was misunderstood. That was done to check the condition of my autoimmune & long term covid damaged lungs," she said. "Medyo sumobra na kung pati cancer meron ako."
