Actress and singer Belle Mariano extended compassion and concrete help to flood-affected families in Barangay Dolores, Taytay, Rizal as she personally donated and distributed relief goods at the Hapay na Mangga Elementary School Evacuation Center on Thursday.
Moved by the plight of residents displaced by the recent habagat-induced flooding, Mariano donated sacks of rice and grocery packs to families currently seeking shelter in the evacuation center.
Belle was joined by Barangay Dolores officials Kapitan Inye Pacleb and Kagawad Ronnie Taronek Dizon during the relief distribution. The officials helped facilitate the activity, ensuring an orderly and efficient process.
The actress, who is known not only for her talents but also for her genuine advocacy for community service, was warmly welcomed by evacuees, many of whom expressed their appreciation through smiles and hugs.
Barangay officials praised Mariano’s generosity and hands-on involvement.
