Hollywood singer and actress Selena Gomez marked her 33rd birthday with an intimate rooftop disco-themed celebration with her best friend, global superstar Taylor Swift celebrating with her.
In a recent social media post, Selena shared a photo carousel from her birthday bash, which was attended by her closest family and friends. The festive snaps included a sweet photo of Selena and Taylor seated together in a balloon-filled rooftop venue, glowing in hues of gold, silver, and black.
“As I prepare to celebrate my 33rd birthday, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey that has brought me here,” Selena wrote in her caption.

She expressed her gratitude for the past year, calling it the most beautiful year of her life
“This past year has truly been the most beautiful year of my life, and I owe so much of that to all of you,” she added.
Fans, lovingly referring to them as TayLena, were thrilled to see the two best friends reunite. The last time they were seen publicly was in May during a girls’ night out at The Monkey Bar in New York City. Taylor and Selena have been close for years, supporting each other through career milestones and personal challenges.

In one of her past Instagram stories, Selena showed her support for Taylor after the singer regained control of her music masters.
“YES YOU DID THAT TAY,” Selena said in a Instagram story. “So proud!”
In a 2020 interview with WSJ Magazine, both artists opened up about their bond.
“There’s so much of my friendship with Taylor that people don’t know about because we don’t necessarily feel the need to post about everything we do,” Selena shared. “She has showed up for me in ways that I would have never expected. Flown in because I was hurt and was going through something. Stuff that was going on with my family.”
“It’s been proven year after year and in every moment of my life that she is one of my best friends in the world. We don’t agree on everything, but we respect each other with everything,” she added.
Taylor also described, "There has always been this quality of sisterhood, and I don't say that in a basic way."
She went on, "I knew from when I met her I would always have her back. In my life, I have the ability to forgive people who have hurt me. But I don't know if I can forgive someone who hurts her."
Aside from Taylor, Selena also shared a sweet photo of herself kissing her boyfriend and music producer Benny Blanco, and a fun snap with Disney Channel alum Sofia Carson.

In her heartfelt message, Selena thanked her fans and loved ones for their support.
“Thank you for your unwavering love and kindness. Whether you cheered me on from the sidelines, shared in my highs and lows, or simply offered a listening ear, you have made this year unforgettable. I am extremely humbled and insanely appreciative of all your love,” she expressed
“As I step into this new year, I’m filled with excitement and hope for what’s to come. I look forward to sharing more moments with all of you, creating new memories, and continuing this beautiful journey together. MADLY LOVE YOU ALL 🥳,” she continued.
In the comment section, several celebrities also joined the celebration extending their greetings to Selena on her special day.
“Love love love this, love you, love 33!!!! It’s going to be an even more magical year! Happy birthday!!!” The Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev wrote.
Emily in Paris star Lily Collins also greeted, “The most love to the brightest soul ❤️.”
Selena recently wrapped up another season of her hit TV series Only Murders in the Building. Earlier this year, she released her collaborative album with Benny Blanco, as well as her fourth studio album I Said I Love You First, which dropped last March.
