Media personality and former politician Jinkee Pacquiao expressed her gratitude to the millions of fans of her husband, athlete and politician, Manny Pacquiao, who have shown their support during his match last earlier this week. In an Instagram post after her husband’s match, the celebrity wife shared some photos of him and their family with all smiles despite the outcome of the match.
After an intense match up between Manny and defending champion, Mario Barrios, the Filipino boxer failed to secure a world championship for his highly-anticipated comeback in the boxing scene.
Manny’s comeback resulted in a draw as two judges scored it an even 114-114, while one judge was in favor of Barrios at 115-113 –– just enough for the younger boxer to retain his WBC welterweight title.

“My heart is full thanks to you all. ♥️ I'm deeply grateful for all your love, prayers, and support,” Jinkee wrote.
Present in the photos Jinkee shared were all of their children–– Jimuel, Michael, Mary, Queenie, and Israel–– who went to Las Vegas to show their support for their father. Also seen in some of the photos was the rumored girlfriend of Jimuel.
Meanwhile, Manny expressed his post-match thoughts and admitted how he thought he won the match. He gave credit to Mario for a “wonderful fight”. Admitting that he only had two months of training prior to the highly-anticipated fight, Manny realized he should have started training and conditioning himself several months more.
“I thought I won the fight… I mean, it was a close fight. My opponent was very tough. But it was a wonderful fight. I was trying to find a way to finish the fight, but my opponent was so tough. He threw punches in combination and with defense, so it was hard,” he said.
"I only had two months' training… What I need to do is to continue my training… In a championship fight like this, I should train for four months or three and a half months,” he added.

Fans of the Filipino boxer expressed their support on social media and applauded his efforts, noting his skill and stamina despite being 46 years old now. Other netizens maintained that Manny is still a boxing legend, regardless of the outcome of his much-awaited return to the boxing ring.
Earlier this month, Jinkee turned emotional after having their family back together again after four years. Their son, Jimuel, has been staying in the US to train and further his boxing career while their daughter, Mary, has been living in London as she pursues her education.
