Actress Matet de Leon explained why she was emotional in one of her livestreams on the social media platform TikTok earlier this week. She expressed how disgusted she was with the comments made by a person that kept attacking her while she live selling.
Matet has been going live on TikTok to sell different merchandise and shared how much she’s been loving her work.

In one of her livestreams, the actress was reading several comments which included one from an anonymous profile.
“Suplada to kaya iniwan ni Ate Guy,” the comment read.
After reading this, Matet was seen crying in the livestream but still decided to continue and not let her emotions get the best of her. Fans of the actress were also quick to defend her in the comment section of her livestream as they called out the netizen who made the rude remark.
Fans of the actress assumed it was about her late mother, Nora Aunor. In a separate TikTok post before her explanation, Matet shared how she’s ready to deal with her bashers, especially those who involve her mother.
“Ready na ko sainyoooo hahahaha Gamitin niyo pa nanay ko pamikon,” she shared.
After her livestream, she posted a video and explained why she cried in the livestream. She maintained that she wasn’t ashamed of doing live selling for her work and is actually proud of what she does.

“Gusto ko lang ipaalam sa inyong lahat yung nangyari kahapon na medyo naiyak ako sa live. Hindi ako naiyak sa live dahil nahihiya ako mag live okay? Kasi ako, proud na proud ako maging live seller ng TikTok–– ng mga brands na pinapaniwalan ko,” she shared.
Matet added that after reading the comment made by the netizen, she was irritated as the name of her late mom was dragged into it.
“Kaya ako na bad trip kahapon because of that one person na walang puso napaka walang hiya,” she added.
She then made the decision to read comments less in her future livestreams as she knows some netizens will do their best to irritate her.
“Masasabi ko lang sa mga talagang gusto lang mamikon sa taong nag tratrabaho lang ng maayos at ginagawa lang ang gustong gusto niya, wala babawasan ko na yung pag babasa ng comments and I will do my best para hindi masira yung trabaho kong gustong gusto kong ginagawa ng dahil sa inyo,” she ended.
