Kapamilya actress Sharon Cuneta shared how her relationship has been with her daughter KC Concepcion. During her guesting for Beyond the Exchange earlier this week, the Megastar bared that there may have been clashes, but at the end of the day, they are still family that would support each other.
The mother-daughter relationship of Sharon and KC has been played out publicly in the past couple of years. Last year, the Saving Grace actress shared in a previous interview how there was a point in their relationship that they were “estranged” from one another. The two patched things up before 2024 ended and their relationship has been better.

Sharon acknowledged that she raised another “human being” and couldn’t demand to think the same way as she does. Despite this, she knows how KC is a good kid and trusts her decisions in her life.
“I don’t think it’s ever been less than solid. I think it’s just that there’s been some misunderstanding and disagreements along the way because you know you raised a human being,” she shared.
“You can’t expect her or him to end up exactly like you or have your brain. You raised an individual and we’ve had some clashes but she’s a good kid all around, you know. We’ve done our best and she always says mom just trust me the way you raised me,” she added.
When asked what her daughter has been up to lately, the Kapamilya actress shared that she is focusing on her jewelry business which has been making noise in the US. She assured that KC is doing alright but isn’t prioritizing showbiz at the moment.

“KC’s okay. She’s quietly now building a jewelry business. She went to the Gemological Institute of America to study more about jewelry… She still wants to do projects in show business but it’s not high on her priority list now. She likes being an entrepreneur but she likes to do stuff in showbiz pa rin,” she shared.
Earlier this year, Sharon was spotted wearing the design personally made by KC for her. The celebrity daughter expressed how happy she was seeing her mother wear one of her designs.
