Actress-turned-politician Ara Mina shared that she isn’t the “right person” to be asked about the truth behind the breakup rumors between her sister, Cristine Reyes, and actor Marco Gumabao. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda earlier this week, she expressed how she is always supporting her younger sister in all of her decisions.
Cristine and Marco have been rumored to have parted ways after netizens noticed they briefly unfollowed one another on social media––– both currently follow each other again on Instagram as of this writing.

Ara remained mum on the issue and focused on their sisterhood instead.
“Well, kung ano alam ko it stays with me and I am not the right person [to tell] kung ano real score,” she shared.
“Si Cristine, she’s mature enough and basta masasabi ko lang sa kanya andito lang kaming family,” she added.
The older sister added that Cristine has been comforting her ever since the results of the elections were released. Ara failed to win a seat as a City Councilor in the city of Pasig where she ran under the slate of businesswoman Sarah Discaya who also lost the mayoral race.
“I appreciate kay Cristine after election, she just texted me and [said], 'Ate, ano gagawin bukas? Dinner tayo.' Mga simple things na ganun maybe to comfort me. She knows naman na andito rin ako for her,” she shared.
Meanwhile, Ara maintained that she, alongside their family, will always be behind the decisions that the actress will make. As an older sister, the actress revealed that she’s given Cristine some advice but at the end of the day, it’s up to the latter.

“I think she knows what she’s doing and nag coconfide din naman siya sa akin. Sinasabi ko kung ano yung opinion ko pero sinasabi ko sa kanya ikaw pa rin mag dedecide kung ano ang nasa puso mo,” she expressed.
“Basta kung san ka masaya, nakasuporta kami ng family,” she added.
The actress maintained that her sister is “doing fine” and did not confirm or deny the status of their relationship. Without giving more details about the rumors, Ara hinted that fate will do its magic if it’s meant to be.
“Basta naniniwala ako kung kayo para sa isa’t-isa, kayo. At the end of the day, magiging kaibigan pa rin kayo if hindi man naging kayo,” she shared.
“Si Cristine matanda na siya she knows what she’s doing,” she ended.
