Once the subject of headlines from various controversies in past years, it looks like Baron Geisler is ready to turn over a new leaf after his role as the agent Miguel Tecson in Incognito. The role was also the first time he wasn’t playing an anti-hero role in recent years.
During the Incognito: Final Mission finale presscon held last June 25 in Quezon City, the talented actor opened up about how his real life struggles mirror his current role onscreen.
“Yes it’s my first time playing a good guy and it’s quite challenging kasi sabi nga nila direk Lester (Pimentel) sa akin, na-master ko na yung mga crazy characters (laughs). So iba naman yung timpla pagdating sa good guy role kasi it tends to be boring. So kailangan tama yung timpla and buti na lang we have great writers to make each character interesting.
"So I would say, Miguel hits home talaga kasi I’m a recovering alcoholic, Miguel is also a recovering alcoholic. So I’m just grateful na nabigyan ako ng ABS-CBN and Star Creatives ng ganitong klaseng role. I will cherish this for the rest of my life. Sana nga magka-season two,” he said.

In a candidly honest moment during the presscon, the 43-year-old actor shared how proud he was of himself to finish the series without causing any controversy on the set.
“Ang laki ng tulong nila sa akin. Una, natapos ko na hindi ako nagkalat! (laughs). This is the first show na maipagmamalaki ko na hindi ako pumasok sa set na nakainom and it’s so liberating and for sure, dahil nakaka-addict yung ganung feeling na kaya ko pala. So I’ll be reaching for that goal every show, every movie dapat ganun ang mangyari and tuloy tuloy na,” he admitted.

In a recent Instagram post, Baron shared some of his favorite snapshots while shooting the series finale in Marawi.
